About Event

Recovering Critical Virtual Environments when backups fail or are compromised through a Cyber Incident

This presentation positions DriveSavers as a last-resort, enterprise-grade recovery partner for VMware environments when backups and native tools fail.

It explains how DriveSavers recovers virtual machines, disks, and critical business data across ESXi and vSphere environments, covering common failure scenarios like corruption, ransomware, and storage issues. It highlights flexible recovery methods (remote, onsite, lab) and emphasises strong security, compliance, and proven expertise.

About the presenter: Adrian Briscoe is a technology and data recovery specialist with experience across cyber incident response, enterprise storage, and complex data loss scenarios. At DriveSavers Data Recovery, he works closely with DFIR teams, IT departments, and service providers to recover data from compromised, failed, or corrupted systems - including virtual environments, RAID arrays, and endpoint devices.

Based in Brisbane, Adrian brings a practical understanding of how data is structured, stored, and recovered across modern infrastructures. His work focuses on bridging gaps between incident response, backup limitations, and forensic recovery - supporting organisations in restoring critical data when conventional recovery methods fall short.

Thanks to VMware User Group (VMUG) we will be giving away a full VMUG Advantage membership on the 22nd April!
